Downloading Cscape

This short video outlines the steps to download Cscape, our free programming environment. Cscape software combines graphical ladder diagram programming (based on IEC-61131) with operator interface development to completely integrate the control package. Its straightforward approach to programming combines logic with messaging and networking, and offers many additional features.

PGM Utility 4.0

The higher performance processor in the revised XLT/XLE drop-in units mean that PGMs utilising downloadable protocols compiled for older models will not function in the new hardware.

This utility allows the PGMs to be converted for use with the new improved drop-in devices.

New PGM converter utility is distributed with Cscape 9.80, and is also available as a standalone utility.

Adding True Type Fonts

Support for TrueType fonts has been added to Cscape 9.80.

XL+ will not support Unicode fonts, unless the TrueType fonts being used contain Unicode-based character mapping.

Benefits of using TrueType over Unicode? Only one file per font, not per font size is required. Each .ttf file will support various font sizes.

VPN Web Authentication

The ability to select the form of authentication used in WebMI installations has been added and allows OCS WebMI servers to be used via proxy devices.

Originally Digest Authentication only was supported, but many third party proxy devices, such as eWON and Secomea require basic authentication to be used.
