Cscape provides a whole host of “bitwise operations” – function blocks which are highly useful in parsing variable data. In industrial communications – multiple data fields are often tightly and efficiently packed to optimize bandwidth – and that means parsing. But NOT included in the list of Cscape bitwise operations is a “Masked Move”. In this technical session we’ll discuss where the “Masked Move” is most useful – and how to perform it in Cscape.
