In this presentation we are presenting the latest I/O offering from Horner. The OCS I/O is remote I/O in the popular slice format. It is connected here to the XL4 Prime Controller via the Cscan network. The slice CPU – CNX116; has two Cscan connections which allows 7 modules per base, and you can daisy-chain up to 16 bases per network allowing you an unrivalled amount of I/O for your application.
Tap the input output segment on the screen of the OCS demo and toggle the switch to see the OCS I/O connection. The OCS I/O modules are totally hot-swappable. Users can remove and add modules from the base as required with ease.
