The Canvas 5 is one of the new additions to the Canvas Collection of embedded I/O controllers. All units feature a built-in logic engine, operator interface, networking and I/O.

All new graphics engine built with Cscape 10 enhanced graphics

Multi-core SOM with dedicated logic and graphics cores

4.3″ (480×272) display with virtual function keys

12 I/O points onboard including 4 DC In, 4 DC Out and 4 Analog In

Ethernet, RS232/485 serial ports, 1 CAN port, 2MB logic memory

USB-A or Micro SD for data storage, same cutout as X5 Prime

Online Programming and MQTT support, as well as improved WebMI features

All Canvas models include WebMI+, MQTT, Enhanced IEC and J1939 features included as standard.

Networking features include:

(1) Integrated CAN port that supports either CsCAN, CANopen, J1939 or DeviceNet Scanner
