TESTIMONIALS

“Regarding CScape 9.9 SP3 this is the first time I have used tag addressing, user defined structures and user defined function blocks. These are huge advancements and is allowing me to improve my code structure and also to simplify my code. The webinar I attended was well worth it.”

“I started using a Horner kit when I started my own business because Cscape was free. Before that, I tended to use A-B (shock). I’d first seen a Horner OCS250 when I got sent to Russia to troubleshoot a small Canadian built incinerator around 2004. That was when I found out I could download Cscape and access the coding. The first job I did as an independent was when I used the OCS300 and then a QX651. I ended up using Horner as my first choice because you get familiar with the programming and quirks of the kit very easily. I have ZXs on clinical waste incinerators in the United Kingdom. I have them seven years 24/7 and I have had no failures. I use Smartrail I-O XL4s with SmartMod on agricultural straw boilers in leaky unheated sheds. There have been no failures. The XL7’s are running flue gas treatment plants and woodchip boilers. They have also had no failures. My customers love them. The XL7 is more capable than Micrologix and will compete on scan speed etc. with the Compactlogix. The longest running ZXs are controlling the medical waste incinerators at a big hospital in Cambridge, England. Subsequently I changed the old flue gas filter cleaning controllers (custom reverse pulse boards) for a pair of interconnected XL7s to give more flexible cleaning control on the same plant. Next year I hope to design a waste pyrolyser for a company in New Mexico whom I have persuaded to abandon the A-B on their current United Kingdom built unit in favour of Horner. I usually deal with Don Hurley and the guys in Cork, Ireland. Thanks for being a great source and vendor."

"After many years in the automation business we have landed on Horner products as core products in our scope of delivery. The reason for this is that Horner products meet all needs both as PLC, HMI and a wide range of I/O products. All in the same unit. The fact that the PLC and HMI are so close integrated, it makes programming very easy and efficient. Their wide range of functions in the software also makes programming very easy. We have used their products in a wide range of applications and have never met any limitation.

"I was pleasantly surprised when we started to use Cscape. We knew it was a powerful software from the beginning, yet found it easy to use at the same time. In addition to this, we are using Operator panel, PLC, GSM modem and communication with AC drives using the same software. This saves a lot of time, as we now have only one tool to master. Cscape is a very powerful solution for the new age."
