The XL Prime Series are a robust, reliable control product range that combines a traditional controller, operator interface, I/O and networking into an integrated, All-in-One unit using a single free IEC61131-3 compliant software package. They are available from a 3.5” full-colour touchscreen option all the way to 15”.
Lower Costs, More Options, Easy-To-Use
With fully integrated hardware and software, the XL Prime series offers easier programming, installation, development, and set-up. Our controllers have a small footprint and can easily retrofit into an existing system with little effort. The XL Prime are not limited to their on-board I/O. Many variations of distributed remote I/O, including Horner’s OCS I/O, SmartBlock, and SmartMod can be connected via CsCAN, Ethernet, or Modbus. RTU/Modbus-based SmartMod I/O is also a cost-effective means of adding a small amount of analogue I/O. The XL Prime series utilizes microSD™ Data Storage Memory, ideal for data logging, machine recipes, and application files.
Connectivity
The XL Prime series is designed as a modular system for easy selection and growth; CsCAN (CAN Based) high-speed networking and Modbus RTU networking capabilities, as well as Ethernet, come standard in the XL Prime series of controllers and are available as an optional component in all other models. Remote I/O options offer high performance, accurate analogue, and easy-to-configure digital-only modules. Horner I/O has flexible communication options that easily expand current systems.
Customised For Specific OEM Needs
All the controllers in the XL Prime series are white-label products: operator stations that other companies can rebrand. Also, they fit in most cabinets, console designs, and colour schemes. A customized overlay can be added to match the language, logo, and industry terms. This gives the flexibility to use the XL Prime series in any application.
Powerful And Secure Cscape Programming Software
The XL Prime series uses our industry-recognized software platform, Cscape. It combines graphical ladder logic programming, operator interface development, I/O configuration, and network configuration. The user-friendly interface provides a free form and drag & drop editor, as well as more than 100 functions to choose from. In addition to the Cscape Advanced Ladder offering, Cscape also supports the IEC 1131 programming languages.
