On Thursday, 30th April, Horner Automation was proud to participate in the ATU Engineering Exhibition and Competition 2026 held at the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Galway City Campus.
The annual engineering exhibition brought together students from Agricultural, Biomedical, Energy, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Automation and Robotics disciplines, where they presented a wide variety of innovative projects, poster displays, and practical engineering solutions developed throughout the academic year to industry representatives and visitors attending the event.

The Digital Filter Constant is a configurable setting available on the analog input channels of the OCS that helps reduce electrical noise and signal fluctuations which may be unavoidable in certain installations. In industrial environments, factors such as long cable runs, nearby motors, variable frequency drives, or electrical interference can introduce instability into analog signals. The Digital Filter Constant helps smooth out these fluctuations to provide more stable and reliable readings.

To access files on a microSD card from a different site or location, you can use an **FTP (File Transfer Protocol)** connection. This method allows you to access remote files without needing to be physically close to the unit.
