Designed to eliminate human error, increase efficiency, and reduce labor costs, this system integrates Horner X2 PLC controllers to automate bin detection, material monitoring, and precision weighing.

Fabryka Kotłów Sefako S.A., one of the largest power boiler manufacturers in Poland, has a 50-year history of producing thousands of boilers and tens of thousands of pressure parts.
In recent years, Sefako has worked with ASTOR as a Certified Partner to develop a control system for steam boiler operations, leveraging Horner controllers to automate these processes.

Flexography is a form of rotary printing in which ink is applied to metal by means of flexible rubber (or other elastomeric) printing plates. The inks used in flexography dry quickly by evaporation and are safe for use on wrappers that come directly in contact with foods. It is essentially a modern version of letterpress, evolved with high-speed rotary functionality, which can be used for printing on almost any type of substrate, including plastic, metallic films, cellophane, and paper.
This Flexographic application took place in Poirino, near Turin, Italy. It’s total implementation time took 6 months to complete.
